On Feb.11, 2019, we finished our Chinese New Year holiday and back to work.
In the last year 2018, Hongdefa team did the great job and got a lot of orders for different capacity of maize mill and wheat flour milling machine from Different countries, like Kenya Zambia Uganda Ethiopia Egypt Tanzania and so on.

The first 10 containers of this 300tpd wheat mill already arrived Malaysia and our engineer Mr.Guo and Mr.Lv will come to Malaysia on Feb.28,2019 and begin the preliminary work first.

Today we share with you the importance of water regulation in wheat.
The purpose of wheat water regulation is to increase the toughness of the cortex and keep the bran intact during processing. The embryo softens and grinds to flour. In the national standard, the moisture content of common flour is less than or equal to 14%. The moisture content of high gluten powder is less than 14.5%. Different customers have different requirements for water. We should have targeted processing water.
The amount of water added to each food processing workshop and noodles is basically constant, but the external environment changes greatly. In the process of food processing under different temperature conditions. The dough softening speed is different. For example, the water content of flour should be lower under the condition of high temperature and water temperature. It hardens the dough and slows down the softening process. So in late spring, early summer and autumn, the water-saving points should be lower, and in cold weather, the water-saving points should be higher.
There was a great deviation in the water-eating ability of different wheat varieties. This is due to the quality of gluten. The absorptive capacity of gluten is at least 1:1.6. The highest: 1:2.7. The wheat gluten with low soft bulk density and unsaturated grain absorbed less water and was easy to soften. If wheat with high hard bulk density and full grains has strong water absorption ability. The dough is quite stiff. New wheat gluten has not yet been fully formed. That is to say, the ripening period is not enough. He also tends to soften.
That is to say, the water content of flour is higher when processing wheat with high hard bulk density and full grain. The moisture content of new wheat flour processed with soft, low bulk density and unsaturated grains is lower. In addition, the deviation of water absorption ability of each part of wheat grain is relatively large. The central part of wheat has strong water absorption ability, and the more dependent it is on the periphery, the worse it is. In the process, the front core grinding flour has strong water absorption ability.
That is to say, the moisture content of wheat flour with different qualities should be different. The same wheat has different identities under different climatic conditions. Flour in different technological positions has different water absorption capacity, which can be chosen according to the requirements of flour quality. Only by knowing how much water is added to wheat and in different seasons can you ensure the stability of your flour.

Guo Zhenfa participated in the work in 1976. He worked in the Zhanhuang County Machinery Factory in Hebei Province. He has been engaged in the development and improvement of the Royal Brand flour grindling machines. In the national industry standard acceptance, Guo Zhenfa made outstanding contributions to the 6fts-16, 6fts-15d and 6ffts-12t wheat flour grinders , the commissioning operation showed that all the indicators were higher than the national standards, which laid a solid foundation for the Royal Brand flour machine to become a famous brand of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Because Guo Zhenfa’s operating technology in first grade in the industry, he became the first technicians go to abroad to do the installation and commissioning of complete sets of wheat flour machines in China. In the 1990s, a set of flour processing equipment exported by Zanhuang Machinery Factory became China’s first set of wheat flour grind equipment sold abroad. This news caused a great sensation at that time, and the workmates of the whole factory enthusiastically sent technicians to go abroad.

After that, MR.Guo led the sales and installation team to travel in many countries, including Vietnam, Rwanda, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Senegal etc. Among them, the 6fts-15d flour mill machine which was installed by Guo Zhenfa in Burundi, East Africa in 1991 that has high powder extraction rate and produce good flour quality. The machine was highly praised by African friends.Guo Zhengfa was received by the then President of Burundi, Pierre Buyoya, and awarded International Friends Honorary Certificate.
In 2002, after the reform of state-owned enterprises, Guo Zhenfa established Shijiazhuang Africa Trading Co., Ltd. and set branch offices in Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa and Congo.
In 2004 Ethiopia, Africa Trading company sold,design and installed one set of 500T/24h wheat flour mil machine which is the first large-scale flour mill machine in China.
In 2006, we installed a 60T/24h wheat flour mill machine in Egypt. In 2014, The owner expanded production and purchased one set of 200T/24h wheat flour mill machine. The owner was satisfied with the wheat flour mill machine design and quality. He warmly invited Mr. Guo to visit his factory and home.
In 2008, Guo Zhenfa invested 20 million in the Wumashan Industrial Zone to build a factory called Shijiazhuang Hongdefa Machinery Co., Ltd., covering an area of 40,000 square meters (60 acres) with a production workshop of more than 100 employees , and has independent sales, production, installation and after sale service one-stop team. The company mainly targets the research and development of maize and wheat processing machinery in Africa, South America and Southeast Asia, and produce processing equipment adapted to local people’s conditions. On March 29th, the Nigerian Lekki Deepwater Port Project, which was built by China Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the Lagos Laiki Free Trade Zone. Vice President Osing Baggio attended the ceremony and said that the project is of great significance to the development of Nigerian social economy. The federal and state governments will provide all necessary support to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
After the project is completed, Lekki Port will become one of the largest deep-water ports in West Africa, playing a pivotal role in the entire sub-regional port, and about 170,000 people will receive direct and indirect employment opportunities.
Lagos is the economic capital of Nigeria, the largest city in West Africa, and its economic output accounts for nearly half of the country. In Lagos, the port area is shallow, and only small cargo ships can be parked, and the loading and unloading efficiency is low.

How do I view Chinese flour processing machinery?
I am Guojun Ma, born in 1961, graduated from secondary school in 1980, and now is a Technical Manager working at Shijiazhuang Hongdefa Machinery Co., Ltd.
In 1980, I joined the Zanhuang Flour Machinery Factory and worked as a salesman in the sales department. In 1984, I joined the installation department and was responsible for installing and commissioning flour mill machinery for customers. Zanhuang Flour Machinery Factory is an excellent enterprise of China Machinery Department and Hebei Province. It is a national second-level enterprise specializing in the production of wheat flour grinding mill and maize grinding mill. Since the development of the first set of small and medium-sized flour processing equipment in 1979, the products have been sold at home and abroad for 17 years, and the production and sales volume of the same industry in the country is the first.
In 1986, I was responsible for the development of 6FTS12T complete milling equipment, the first case in China.

Among them, one of the founders of Africa Trading Co., Ltd. / Shijiazhuang Hongdefa Machinery Co., Ltd. Guo Zhenfa was responsible for the installation and commissioning of the first set of flour processing equipment exported by China in 1982. At that time, it caused a lot of sensation. On the day they set off for installation, the whole factory staff went to the door to line up for the farewell. Although it was about 30 years in a blink of an eye, the scene was still vivid, and it was a great envy and a great glory. I think because of this, my current boss has already started to do foreign trade, so that after the factory was divided into the international department and the country, Mr.Guo has been selling, installing and debugging in the international department, because of so many years of accumulation, MR.Guo can create the brand “Hongdefa”.
In 2005, Zanhuang Flour Machinery Factory closed because of the enterprise policy change and joint-stock enterprises establishment in China.
In 2006, I joined Shijiazhuang Africa Trading Co., Ltd. and continued to work on flour machine technology and international trade. In 2009, our company established Shijiazhuang Hongdefa Machinery Co., Ltd which is mainly aimed at the research and development of maize/wheat processing machinery in Africa, South America and some Southeast Asian countries to produce maize/wheat/corn flour grinding mill that can adapted to local market need.
This picture was taken in 2008 when I was installing and commissioning a 120 T/24h maize grinding mill in Zimbabwe.
In 2013,we have established a branch office in Lusaka,Zambia,this is more convenient for the door to door customer services for our clients.
I was in Zambia in 2014 to do some technical guidance work for maize milling machines,together with clients.
In the year 2015, Kenya client visited our factory and purchased our 50T/24H maize grinding mill

We make the factory design for client, it’s a professional modernized factory design for this 50T/24H maize grinding mill project.
We build our branch office in Ethiopia in 2016, branch office in Uganda in 2017, and will have more and more branch office be built in Africa countries to supply the most convenient after-sale service for our maize mill and wheat flour mill clients.
In 2017, I guided the installation of the 200T/24H wheat flour grinding mill project in Brazil. It adopt 5-floor building and the photos took when i check the roller mill condition, I stayed in Brazil 6 months, operate the machine for client and trained client’s millers how to operate the machines and handle the daily problems, when everything I think goes well, then back China.
The client bough the 60T/24H wheat flour grinding mill in 2012. I made the installation work for him, the machine adopt steel structure frame design. It already running 6 years till now.
In this year,I did more than 4 sets 30T maize milling machine installation work in Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia and Uganda. And I will keep learning and training, supply more and more professional installation and training works to more clients, do what I can do for the food processing of the world to is what I always pursue! Hope the maize milling and wheat flour mill technology will make the world of people have a better life! And same time, hope our Hongdefa machinery can do more and more maize milling plant and wheat flour mill project for all over the world!
